Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing Time

 

We aim to process and ship your order as quickly as possible.

  • Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after the order is received and payment is confirmed.

  • Cut-off Time: Orders placed after 12:00 PM (Central European Time – CET) on a business day, or at any time during a weekend or public holiday, will be considered received on the next business day.

  • Business Days: We define business days as Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays


 

2. Estimated Delivery Times

 

The delivery time is the period from the shipment of the order (after processing time) until its arrival at the recipient's address.

Other European Countries (EFTA, etc.) Standard Shipping 9 – 14 Business Days (after shipment)

Important Note: The total time to receive your order is: Processing Time + Delivery Time.

  • Example: 3 days processing + 9 days delivery = 12 total business days.


 

3. Shipping Costs

 

Shipping costs vary based on the weight, dimensions of the items, and the delivery address.

  • Calculation: The exact shipping cost for your order will be automatically calculated and displayed at Checkout, before you finalize the payment.

  • Free Shipping: We may offer free standard shipping on orders exceeding a certain value. This option will be clearly indicated at Checkout, if applicable.


 

4. Tracking and Monitoring

 

  • Shipment Notification: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping notification email that includes the tracking number and a link to track your package's progress with the carrier.

  • Tracking information may take up to 48 hours to become active after you receive the notification.


 

5. Customs and Taxes

 

 

A. For EU Countries

 

Since Versailles Chevalier is focused on Europe:

  • Orders within the EU: The price you pay at checkout already includes the applicable VAT (Value Added Tax), and there will be no additional customs duties or taxes to pay upon delivery.

 

B. For Countries Outside the EU

 

  • If we ship outside the European Union, the customer is responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, local VAT, or customs handling fees in the destination country.


 

6. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

 

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is complete and correct.

  • If an order is returned to Versailles Chevalier due to an incorrect address or because it was not claimed by the recipient, we will contact the customer to arrange re-shipment. Additional re-shipping fees may apply.


 

7. Damaged or Lost Items

 

Versailles Chevalier is responsible for any damage or loss of the product until the moment it is delivered to the customer, as required by EU consumer law.

  • Damage: If you receive a damaged order, you must contact us within a maximum of 48 hours of receipt, sending a photograph of the damaged item and packaging to support@versailleschevalier.com.

  • Loss: If your tracking does not update after 15 business days, please contact us so we can initiate an inquiry with the carrier.
