Returns and Refunds Policy

Versailles Chevalier is committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, you may return the item in accordance with European Union consumer laws.


 

1. Right of Withdrawal / Right to Cancel (Returns)

 

In compliance with European consumer protection legislation, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days.

  • Time Frame: The 14-day period starts from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.

  • Notification: To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision by an unequivocal statement (e.g., email).

 

A. Conditions for Returns:

 

  • Items must be returned within 14 days from the date you notified us of your intention to return.

  • Items must be unused, in the same condition that you received them, and in their original packaging.

  • Customized, sealed items that have been opened, or goods that deteriorate rapidly may be excluded from the right of withdrawal, as per the law.


 

2. How to Make a Return

 

  1. Notification: Send an email to support@versailleschevalier.com stating your Order Number and the items you wish to return.

  2. Confirmation: Our support team will confirm the request and provide you with detailed instructions and the correct return shipping address.

  3. Shipping: You are responsible for shipping the items back. The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer, except in cases of defective or incorrect items (see Section 4).

  4. Packaging: Please package the items securely to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.


 

3. Refunds

 

Once we receive and inspect your returned items, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refund: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a maximum of 14 days from the day we receive the notification of withdrawal (provided the goods have been received or proof of shipment is provided).

  • Original Shipping Cost Refund: We will refund the original shipping costs only if the entire order is returned. If you return only part of the order, the original shipping costs are not refundable.


 

4. Defective or Incorrect Items

 

If an item is defective, damaged, or if we sent you the wrong item, Versailles Chevalier is responsible for rectifying the situation.

  • Notification: Please contact us immediately (within a maximum of 48 hours of receipt) at support@versailleschevalier.com, attaching:

    • The Order Number.

    • A clear description of the defect or error.

    • Photos or videos of the defect or the incorrect item.

  • Costs: We will bear all reasonable shipping costs for the return of the defective item and for shipping a replacement or providing a full refund, if preferred.


 

5. Exchanges

 

We accept exchanges for items (e.g., for a different size), provided the desired item is in stock.

  • Exchange Process:

    1. The customer returns the original item (following Section 2).

    2. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a refund.

    3. The customer should place a new order for the correct size or item through our Site.

This approach ensures you receive the new item as quickly as possible.


 

6. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

 

All products sold by Versailles Chevalier are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for two years, as per EU legislation.

  • If an item is found to be non-conforming (defective) within this period, you are entitled to repair, replacement, or, if that is not possible, a price reduction or contract termination.
